  • My Epson WF-7620 just turned 2 years old. Today, received Printer Code Error 0×97. Tried all 3 fix recommendations. First I turned off the printer, removed all ink cartridges (all genuine EPSON 252 cartridges), Unplugged the the USB cable and power supply from both the printer, the computer and the Surge Protector, pressed and held the power button for 60 seconds, then waited for 5 minutes and reconnected the printer, turned the power on and reinstalled the ink cartridges. After printer completed the ink priming session, and without sending a print command, I again was given the "Printer Error. Turn the power off and on again. ect, ect. and displayed "Error Code 0×97. Tried Fix suggestion 2 with same results above. Then tried Fix suggestion 3. same results. I really like this printer but, being unable to print or repair (Reimage could not repair), I will buy a new printer but it will NOT BE AN EPSON.

  • None of the fixes worked. My Epson print has been nothing but trouble. VERY POOR PRODUCT

  • Fix 1 & Fix 2 failed to solve my problem. Fix 3 is too vague. Have read many, many bad reviews concerning this printer and error 097. Will no longer invest any more time or money in Epson printers.
