I have the WF-7610 and got the 0×97 error and tried the troubleshooting but it didn’t work. So I just called them and they are replacing it with a refurbished one even though I bought it in Sept 2016. They put a $149.99 hold on my cc until they receive my old one back and then they take it off.
None of the above procedures worked. My printer is also a little over 2 years old.
America needs to wakeup and support American made products instead of cheap crap from China! So sad… even homegrown HP products are now made in China! We keep buying and they keep breaking!
I’ve tried all of the above repeatedly and still get the error message. Very disappointed in Epson
This is my 2nd WF-Pro 4630…got it at first & loved the print quality. Within 6 months, the error message 0×97 appeared. Since under warranty, Epson sent me a new printer. TheY 1.5 years later, the same message appeared—of, course, OUT OF WARRANTY. I Decided to order the WF-3720 with a 4 year warranty. Now, let’s wait & see.
This printer is junk.
