What Is HP Instant Ink?

Posted by Greg Nowak on

HP Instant Ink is the replacement service for ink cartridges. To participate, enroll your HP Instant Ink to a suitable printer in an instant ink plan. The plan charges you depending on the number of pages you print each month. The printer sends ink level information to HP, and when the printer is running on ink, the replacement ink cartridges are shipped to you. You do not need to purchase replacement cartridges from retail stores when you are registered with HP Instant Ink.

What do I need to register?

To register with HP Instant Ink, you need a suitable printer, an Internet connection, an email address, and a credit or debit card. For more information, go to “Registering with HP Instant Ink.”

Where is HP Instant Ink available?

Make sure that your country/region supports HP  ink. Go to HP Instant Ink, and then click the country/region and language. Find your country/region and language from the drop-down menu.

If you have not found your country/region from the list, then this HP program is not supported.

How much does a monthly fee cost?

HP Instant Ink offers several plans to choose from with a monthly payment according to any budget. Go to HP Instant Ink to find out what is hp instant ink and what plans are available. Your monthly fee is paid for ink, shipping, and processing *. The billing cycle begins on the day you insert the first ink cartridges into your registered printer. Your credit or debit card is paid 30 days after you insert the first HP ink cartridges. For example, if you insert an HP ink cartridge on February 5, the calculation cycle starts on February 5 and ends on March 4. The first payment for a credit or debit card is applied on March 5. The date of the invoice can not be changed, and the monthly fee is charged on the same day each month until you are credited.

Your card is charged even if you do not use ink per month, but pages that you do not print go to the next month, up to the maximum amount. For example, if you have a 50-page plan and zero-page printing in January, your credit card is still charged for January, but these 50 non-printable pages go to the next month, and you can print 100 pages, the maximum amount, in February.

* Recirculation of the cartridge is not available in Italy. Observe local regulations to dispose of the cartridges responsibly.
