Compatible HP 902XL Ink Cartridges - Firmware-Safe

Handle everyday paperwork and color projects with a high yield set chosen for regular home office printing. Catch Supplies compatible HP 902XL ink cartridges bring black, cyan, magenta, and yellow replacements together for invoices, customer correspondence, school projects, and illustrated office reports. This Firmware-Safe version includes upgraded chips for shoppers who want protection against chip errors after HP firmware updates. Select the pack that fits your printer and the way you use it.

A complete 4-Pack for black and color printing

The 4-Pack contains one black, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow cartridge. This page offers the four-color set, giving you all four cartridge colors in one purchase. It is a convenient way to replenish your printer for projects that combine text, charts, and illustrations. Each cartridge is a separate replacement, so you can install the colors you need and keep the others sealed.

High yield capacity for your workload

Each black cartridge prints up to 1,500 pages. Cyan, magenta, and yellow each print up to 825 pages. High yield capacity offers more rated pages per cartridge than the corresponding standard yield HP 902 replacements, helping reduce replacement frequency during regular printing. The listed yields apply per cartridge, rather than to the pack as a whole. Actual page output depends on how much ink your documents use, along with print settings, maintenance, and printing habits. A page with large color images will use ink differently from a simple letter, so use these ratings as a planning reference.

Upgraded chips and firmware protection

Firmware-Safe compatible HP 902XL ink cartridges use upgraded chips designed to help keep printing available after HP firmware updates. This version also works with compatible HP+ printers, including supported models ending in “e”. The chip is included with each cartridge, so there is no separate chip option to select on this listing. If firmware-related chip errors are your main concern, choose this version when comparing the compatible ink options available for your printer.

Check your printer before ordering

These cartridges are designed for HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 and 6968 and the other models in this page's compatibility list. For regular printing, compatible HP 902 XL ink combines high yield capacity with separate black and color replacements. Compare the full model name on your printer with that list, rather than choosing by appearance alone. The cartridge family, capacity, and chip version are useful checks when ordering replacements. A familiar model number can appear across related printers, so verify the complete printer designation before selecting your pack.

Replace the ink you need

A combo pack does not require you to replace every cartridge at the same time. Follow the printer's replacement instructions and insert each new cartridge into its matching black, cyan, magenta, or yellow slot. Remove the protective materials specified in the installation instructions before use. Leave spare cartridges in their original packaging until you need them, and store them in a cool, dry place. Keeping one set available helps you prepare for the next report, assignment, or customer document.

Shipping and purchase protection

Your purchase is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee and a 2-year product warranty. Catch Supplies can help with product selection and installation questions. These are compatible replacement cartridges, not original HP products. Review your chosen pack and printer model at checkout so your order matches the supplies you need.

Which pack should I choose?

Choose this 4-Pack when you want black and all three colors together. If only one cartridge needs replacing, review the separate black or color pages for this family and select the replacement that matches your printer.

Plan your next print job

Plan replacements around your usual documents. A week of invoices may use mostly black ink, while charts and school projects can place more demand on individual colors. Keeping cartridges separate gives you flexibility to replenish those supplies at different times rather than replacing every color for each new project.
