Firmware-Safe Compatible HP 952XL Ink Cartridges Combo Pack with Upgraded Chips, High Yield, 4-Pack / 5-Pack, for HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 and 8710 Printers

Compatible HP 952XL Ink Cartridges - Firmware-Safe

Keep a busy office supplied for longer runs of business documents and color presentations. Catch Supplies compatible HP 952XL ink cartridges bring black, cyan, magenta, and yellow replacements together for business proposals, detailed reports, training materials, and customer presentations. This Firmware-Safe version includes upgraded chips for shoppers who want protection against chip errors after HP firmware updates. Select the pack that fits your printer and the way you use it.

Choose your 4-Pack or 5-Pack

The 4-Pack contains one black, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow cartridge. The 5-Pack contains two black cartridges and one cartridge of each color. The extra black cartridge gives you a spare for invoices, letters, forms, and other text-heavy work. Choose the 4-Pack for a balanced replenishment or the 5-Pack when black ink runs out more often. Each cartridge is a separate replacement, so you can install the colors you need and keep the others sealed.

High yield capacity for your workload

Each black cartridge prints up to 2,000 pages. Cyan, magenta, and yellow each print up to 1,600 pages. High yield capacity provides more rated pages per cartridge than the corresponding standard yield HP 952 replacements, making it a practical choice for frequent printing. The listed yields apply per cartridge, rather than to the pack as a whole. Actual page output depends on how much ink your documents use, along with print settings, maintenance, and printing habits. A page with large color images will use ink differently from a simple letter, so use these ratings as a planning reference.

Upgraded chips and firmware protection

Firmware-Safe compatible HP 952XL ink cartridges use upgraded chips designed to help keep printing available after HP firmware updates. This version also works with compatible HP+ printers, including supported models ending in “e”. The chip is included with each cartridge, so there is no separate chip option to select on this listing. If firmware-related chip errors are your main concern, choose this version when comparing the compatible ink options available for your printer.

Check your printer before ordering

These cartridges are designed for HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 and 8710 and the other models in this page's compatibility list. Compare the full model name on your printer with that list, rather than choosing by appearance alone. The cartridge family, capacity, and chip version are useful checks when ordering replacements. A familiar model number can appear across related printers, so verify the complete printer designation before selecting your pack.

Replace the ink you need

A combo pack does not require you to replace every cartridge at the same time. Follow the printer's replacement instructions and insert each new cartridge into its matching black, cyan, magenta, or yellow slot. Remove the protective materials specified in the installation instructions before use. Leave spare cartridges in their original packaging until you need them, and store them in a cool, dry place. Keeping one set available helps you prepare for the next report, assignment, or customer document.

Shipping and purchase protection

Your purchase is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee and a 2-year product warranty. Catch Supplies can help with product selection and installation questions. These are compatible replacement cartridges, not original HP products. Review your chosen pack and printer model at checkout so your order matches the supplies you need.

Which pack should I choose?

Choose a 4-Pack when you need one replacement of every color. Choose a 5-Pack when you also want a spare black cartridge for a heavier text workload. Check the selected Pack option before ordering.

Plan your next print job

When preparing longer presentation runs, check your ink supplies before printing the final copies. High yield cartridges are useful for repeat jobs, but images and filled graphics consume ink differently from text. Reviewing a sample page first can help you catch layout problems before committing to the full document.
